The Dixie Cooperative vision was born out of Local Common Wealth, which gave birth to the Dixie Business Network, the first chapter of its kind in the art of networking.

After more than three years of weekly networking, regular people in the community surfaced a new vision in networking with the following imagination.

Imagine the Following:

  • Imagine an organization that does not allow members to pitch their own business, but instead we pitch each other.

  • Imagine a local organization that does not have any administrative costs?

  • Imagine an organization that saves all its fees to build wealth in common?

  • Imagine an organization that becomes more valuable every year?

  • Imagine an organization that has absolutely no power struggle for control?

  • Imagine being a member of the most influential organization in your community?

  • Imagine having an equality of voice and vote like never experienced?

Local Common Wealth Core Belief:
Born free and good, we choose a rising hope that lifts all hearts.

What Drives Us

“We know from experience that what we do together is more powerful than what we do alone.” Tom Claypool

Then came the Dixie Cooperative, a more focused vision to work together deliberately. We are a new foundation for what we can do together.

Notice the difference in the two cycles and why we choose the vision cycle that constantly allows for the integration of new vision.

Organizational politics, power struggles, viral apathy, job protectionism, crippling barriers, hardened attitudes, bureaucratic stuffing.

Culture of consent, freedom for all, to take responsibility, real sustainable community, greater wealth, more innovation, more hope, and more volunteerism.
